Stopped for a while. If you go on Sat., unless you have a truck with good ground clearance, park on the left side of the driveway. All the snow plowing for the winter time fiasco ruined the rest of the lot. Not a whole lot of cars up there. Some emods that I saw were Rich Michaels and Butch Southwell. I only saw 3 lates, maybe more came but Chad Valone, Dutch Davies, and Jake Flinnerty were there. Valones car looks good. Ford Mustang. Was told that's the car Tim Fuller ran last year for Kennedy. Allstar ambulance was pitside. They were paid yesterday with a credit card.  Lots of stories being told. Don't know which are true and which aren't. Hope all turns out well this year. Lot's of work needs done before Sat. |

I was out of town, but RC9 texted me some. Said 24 lates. Track was abusing cars, lots of attrition. Rob Blair had a last lap slide job on Volpe for the win. Oakes was 3rd.
4 Limited lates. lol
Max won crates after Knight got a flat tire while leading.
21 emods, not sure who won.
9 lawnmowers
Big crowd.

Did not go, but i heard Dusty, Dry, Rocks, Rough, Good week to be in the Parts Business, In general all that i talked to said Track Sucked, That was the nicest thing said i could post LOL !

Now Jay Pees has been given the boot because his raceway magazine site on Facebook breads negativity. I've seen jay at stateline for as long as I can remember. I'm thinking about doing more camping this year! Very sad day!!!

The track had to be the worse I've ever seen it. 24 lates started and 12 finished. Flat tires, broken shocks, Knight had the whole axle, tire, and rear end come out. You can always expect a few dippsy doos opening night but that just plain sucked. How Greg Oakes held together to pass all those cars coming to the front is beyond me. I don't see the present group holding on much longer. One other thing..............Spanky has parted ways with BC. In his place is one of Mark Mathews sons. I was told he's 17 but don't know for sure. He's flagged over at the cart track for a while. Thought he did a good job.
As for Eriez, didn't go but 2 people I work with did. Said they've seen smoother corn fields in Busti. The Enos kid went into turn 1 in his heat race, caught one of the big ruts, and barrel rolled his emod 4 times. They had some grader races as always. I'll wait a month before I go. One good thing about Eriez.............if there isn't 10 cars in your division it's feature only. No heat race.

Understand Marks son was covered with black and blue marks from the rocks, they think he even has a broken finger from one of them, also be careful what you post, heard he is making a list of who makes negative comments, going to sue for slander, unreal !!!! Bet i am on that list, but you need to prove what was said was a lie to be slander, good luck with that if your watching !!

Well that can't be a good thing. There's no chance that ends well for anyone. Hell, most of us were excited the moment he came in, started fixing up the facilities and paying off the prior management's debt. I can't believe the contrast in barely 12 months.
I don't know the guy, nor do I wish poorly on him. We just don't want to see the track (and racing in general) die off in the area. MCR is shuttered. RW7 won't run lates. Little Valley only has a few shows. TriCity is gone. Sharon won't run lates. S/E is pretty much it if you live in our area. I still hope STM sorts out whatever issues are going on.

I thought for sure someone would get on their lid Saturday. I've never seen it rougher or dustier.
BTW, someone who knows what they are doing needs to help the guy with the 4Q E-Mod before he hurts himself or someone else.

Tri city is running a few special shows this year. And is under management that has a clue! Hopefully next year they run a full schedule
