so after reading about the lancaster deal falling through it has me wondering has stateline been purchased yet? what about the eriez rumor? anyone have any news on the state of our racetracks?

Article in todays Erie paper on this subject. Lake Erie Speedway is for sale again and Catania had spoken to the Prischak family that owns it about a possible purchase. No serious offer was made. They talked to Bobby Rohrer and he said the last time he talked to Bill was a month ago when he was at Eriez taking pictures of assets. Catania had told him he wanted the sale done by the end of Nov. but that hasn't happened. Bobby says it's got to be done by the end of the year or it's not gonna happen. He'll keep it. As for Stateline, Victor Fernandes talked to Jenifer and she said the deal there isn't done.

Well then. Based on the emails you all sent, I'll be traveling to Hammet, PA on Sunday nights to get my racing fix next summer.

While things don't look real good I did talk to one of Lynn Catanias BFF today and she knew what was going on and she paints a different picture. I will not post our conversation here but all is not lost. What does concern me is what happened to the big Stateline Speedway sign on the Busti-Sugar Grove road? Didn't get hit, didn't just rot and fall over...............it"s gone. The one on the Big Tree is still there though  |
