When we were there the Sunday Night Kinser won, He was turning the 1/2 mile while leading 12.3 sec, 143mph average speed, The 2nd video was late in the week, they made the track dryer, otherwise the big block mods were to hard on the surface. early in the week, the sprint feature you could still see their tire tracks in the dirt it was so tacky and wet, could have left the big block mods up north, they tear up the track and are not much faster than a emod, emods put on a much better show. Its worth the trip if you get a chance to go, we don't bother with Daytona anymore, just go for the dirt show, watch Daytona on TV. Greatest place in the world to watch a race, Wreckers Sports Bar - Will be back there again next Year. TV Screen is 37 feet high, with Surround Sound and Great Looking Waitress's waiting on you hand and foot, does not get any better LOL ! Attachments:

Wreckers sounds awesome. I keep trying to talk my family into moving to New Smyrna Beach so we would be right down the road.
